There are some very good folks locally that are not only honest
but do a very good job. I would suggest though to do your homework.
Ask around and listen carefully. The good people are usually busy and worth waiting for.
Youll get a good foundation from Leland workman. He has lots of experience and is fast. He did mine and Im happy with his work.

I agree, there are some great people doing construction in the area. Bob Etchells is not one of them. The work is fine, however he charges way too much money and will go over budget by excessive amounts while telling you that he's giving you tons for free.
Do your homework and use a contractor you can trust and count on. A little over budget is reasonable, but almost doubling it is out of control.

Thank You for Your Comment, I have heard this. Also With the Etchell homes his head contractor has spoke of problems with the homes not being square and other issues. Make sure he give you a home warantee and find out who is insurance company is. Someday down the road you will most likely need it. It is my opinion that he has simply slapped up those houses, and the ones I saw last winter were open to the weather way to long and most likely will have mold. It is Hard to See behind the drywall, many problems come up way after the fact, and over billing may just be the begining. We welcome your story here and will help you in any way we can.
